人人手中有票，不等於真正有選擇。相信大家都留意到，中央近日在政改上言論強硬，『有商有量』頓成『鏡中花，水中月』。在此關鍵時刻，請大家勿猶豫，把握機會向政府清楚表態，為公平普選發聲！

另外，在過去一星期，我的團隊就著各項與ICT相關的事項遞交了約二百條審核財政預算案的問題。內容主要圍繞今年預算案中提到的支持ICT業的新措施、對中小企的資助、政府內部的資訊科技應用的相關數據和開支，以及教育、保安、創新科技等範疇。我期望整理各部門提供的資料，分析和檢視政府在資訊科技方面的支出和成效。多謝大家在Facebook專頁提出的意見，我們會繼續更新有關這些提問的資訊。

Having a vote does not guarantee having real choice or influence. You might have noticed the central government has shown a sterner stance on constitutional reform lately. As the facade of ‘listening’ eventually fades, the consultation exercise appears to be merely a mirage. At this critical moment, I once again call on everyone in the IT sector to voice your views to the government and speak up for free and fair elections!

Over the past week, my team has submitted about two hundred questions to scrutinize the Budget. The questions ranges from the expenses on ICT support measures mentioned in the Budget speech, subsidies to SMEs, the government’s use of information technology, and to ICT related expenditure estimates in areas such as education, security, innovation and technology. Hopefully replies to these questions will allow us to take a deeper look into government IT spending and its effectiveness. I wish to thank everyone who commented on the Facebook page, we will continue to update when we receive the answers.
