Dear IT friends,

Keep Going: From June Fourth to Constitutional Reform

A record crowd of 180,000 showed up at the candlelight vigil commemorating the 25th anniversary of the June 4th massacre. Our people have not forgotten about this tragic part of our country's history, and with collective actions we stand up for truth and justice, against those who want to whitewash the blood-stained history of Tiananmen. We will keep up the fight until justice is done and the day that the verdict on June 4th is rectified.

Human rights lawyer Teng Biao said in Victoria Park on June 4th 2014 that "Hong Kong has no place to retreat." He was right. Facing numerous limitations imposed by the Government on universal suffrage, we must continue to show our strongest support for true universal suffrage. The civic referendum will be held on June 22, and I will host a Workshop on Constitutional Reform on June 19 for the IT sector (in Cantonese), so that we can discuss with individuals and groups advocating different political reform proposals and explore our future strategies. I hope to see you there then! (Seats are limited, so please register online).
