各位IT界朋友：
聖誕快樂 新年進步
衷心感謝各位過去一年對我的議會工作的支持和鼓勵，今年在各位追求民主和繁榮穩定的IT界朋友的心中，都充滿了難忘的片段，相信來年仍會有更多新挑戰。謹祝各位聖誕快樂，新年進步，希望未來一年各位的追求都能實現，繼續為理想共同努力。
政府將會分別在一月份和二月份，發表來年的施政報告和財政預算案。為此我已準備了新一份提交政府的建議書，供各位朋友參考。我很高興去年的建議書中的部份概念獲政府採納，歡迎就內容細節提出寶貴意見。
最後，上星期香港政府與內地當局在《內地與香港關於建立更緊密經貿關係的安排》框架（CEPA）下簽署了新的協議，包括對電信業及計算機服務業的新開放措施，值得業界朋友留意，詳情按此。

Dear IT friends,
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
As another year end approaches, I sincerely thank everyone who has supported and inspired my work in LegCo. This has been a tremendously eventful year for friends pursuing democracy and seeking Hong Kong’s prosperity. More challenges certainly wait ahead. May I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and that we all will strive towards our own goals and ideals.
The government will announce its Policy Address and Budget in the upcoming January and February 2015. I have put together a new proposal comprising our recommendations. Your views and comments are welcomed. I am glad that certain components from our recommendations last year were adopted, and please do not hesitate to suggest further inputs.
Last but not least, last week the Hong Kong and Chinese government has signed a new agreement under the framework of CEPA for further liberalisation of trade in services between Guangdong Province and Hong Kong, including new measures towards the telecommunications and computer services industry, for details please click here.
